Peat moss is known to be a necessary material for growing all kinds of berries, fruits, vegetables, flowers, and other plants. Baltvia’s peat moss comes from Baltic peatlands in Latvia and Lithuania. We offer white (milled), black (frozen), and block peat as well.
New product line “GrandPeat” is dedicated to Premium-Quality peat substrates for professional grouse. We offer high-quality substrates for propagation, potting plants, tree nurseries, berries, and specific crop cultivation. Our substrates consist of fine, medium, and coarse peat moss fractions depending on the needs of a specific crop. To save limited resources, we also offer renewable resources, such as wood fiber and pine bark to our mixes.
We offer nitrogen, phosphorus, and calcium-nitrate fertilizers that can be purchased either separately or in a mix. For a more balanced plant growth, we also offer a micro-complex solution. Micro-complex is full of nutritious microelements that help plants to grow to their full potential.
Hydroponics Clay Pebbles are made of 100% natural clay that is extraordinary clean, lightweight, and environment friendly. Our clay pebbles have porous structure that provides excellent aeration and acts as a water reservoir. We offer clay pebbles in fine 4-8mm, medium 8-16mm, and coarse 16-25mm structures.
Our pine bark is an organic product from Mediterranean pine bark Pinus pinea. The large area of distribution of Pinus pinaster is located on the south-western Atlantic coast of Europe. Pine bark is used for mulching that acts both as a decoration and supportive system for the plant. Pine bark prevents the plant’s top soil from drying out, and can greatly reduce the need for watering. As mulching also protects from weeds and weed seed germination, and keeps the soil temperature constant.
Our wood fiber is made from a high-quality Baltic wood. We offer naturally blond and brown color wood fiber precisely tailored to different applications. In general, wood fiber supports root development, enhances air capacity, and ensures long-term structural stability of a substrate.
